    In its first month the Metropolitan Museum's exhibition has been seen by over 180,000 persons, and it has run only a little more than half its time. It is, in fact, a spectacular show: a selection of seventy original frescoes and fresco fragments, some of them of monumental size, which heretofore only the fortunate few who could afford a trip to Europe could enjoy.
