Engraver: Anton Wilhelm Mäuerl, mount hallmarked Nümberg, mastermark HIH (R3 4268), probably Johann (Hans) Jacob Hanias, born 1676, master 1692, died 1741. Colourless glass, engraved. On either side of the flattened bowl engraved with putti-scene on latticed pelmet consoles allegorizing autumn: kneeling putto with fruit basket under baldachin, flanked by cornucopia-like vases with fruits. Opposite: putto with fishing-rod, leaning against a barrel, flanked by reed and pilasters, crowned by ornament with two birds. Cover with thumb-piece and foot-ring of gilt silver. Height 33.7 cm.
