One is chased with Scenes of Hawking and Falconry, and the other depicts a European idea of this period of an Indian Elephant Hunt. The figures in either case are most interesting in their detail of the period, while the scene of the Elephant Hunt in particular is quite curious, insomuch as the only Elephant in Europe at that time was to be found in Italy. Both pieces bear the old Paris Mark of the period.]

The Sugar Castor illustrated is a faithful reproduction after Paul Lamerie (period 1760), and is 8 1/2 in. high and elaborately decorated with arabesque, masks and scrolls.]
