The chandelier of old Irish cut glass, c. 1770, is only 2 feet high; it is of beautiful quality and brilliant dark metal, there being no modern replacements whatever. The bureau is of walnut, period George I, and measures 18 inches across, 29½ inches high, 14 inches deep. The mounts are modern, otherwise it is in original condition excepting minor repairs to the veneers.

S.W.1.] Pair of Wheel-Lock Pistols with walnut stocks mounted in burnished steel, claborately pierced with conventional foliage and flowers. The barrels are turned and octagonal over the brcech. The locks have the wheels on the exterior framed in chiselled steel; on the inside they are stamped with the maker's mark OB, surmounted by a coronel. On the reverse of the stocks are long suspension hooks. Italian (Brescian) about 1640-1650. From the Zeughaus, Berlin. WHEEL-LOCK PISTOL, the stock of dark walnut inlaid with flowering scrolls in silver and gold wire, and trophies, birds, etc., in mother-of-pearl. On the flat bult end is inlaid in gold and coral the arms of the Medici, surmounted by a coroncl. The burrel is of octagonal section; the wheel-lock is plain with the wheel on the exterior. Italian, about 1630. From the Erbach-Erbach Collection.
