Probably for Sir Thomas Wolrich, 1st Baronet (1595-1668), who suffered severely for his unbending loyalty to Charles I, being twice sequestered and more than once thrown into prison. However, he was rewarded by the monarch in 1641, when he was appointed Governor of Bridgnorth.
